Start the Conversation – Suicide Prevention

We recognise the profound impact of suicide on individuals, families, and communities worldwide. With more than 700,000 lives lost globally to suicide each year, the need for meaningful action has never been more urgent. This year World Suicide Prevention Day marked the beginning of a new triennial theme: “Changing the Narrative on Suicide,” with the powerful call to action, “Start the Conversation.”

At The Thrive Team we understand how difficult it is for many to start a conversation about suicide.  The words don’t come easily, you worry that you may have misread the situation or that you might make it worse.  Starting a conversation about suicide is never easy but with a bit of knowledge and confidence starting a conversation could help save someone’s life.
