Who is it for?
Our Introduction to Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness session is suitable for everyone and makes an excellent addition to your organisation’s induction programme. The session gets individuals thinking about their own mental health and what they can do to develop their own self care practise to maintain their wellbeing and resilience.
What will I learn?
- An awareness of common mental health conditions (stress, anxiety and depression)
- To recognise the common signs of declining mental health and wellbeing in self and others
- Raise consciousness of your own mental health and learn some strategies to support positive mental health.
- Tools and techniques for self care
- Know how to get support for your own mental health – we can link this to your organisation’s policies, EAP and other support services, etc.

- Triggers for mental health problems.
- Common mental health conditions – stress, anxiety and depression.
- THRIVE your way to wellbeing
- Self care at work
- Support available – can signpost to internal/own provider resources as well as national resources.
Each delegate receives an electronic version of wellbeing tools they can use after the session to develop their own wellbeing action plan to maintain positive mental health.
This session can be tailored specifically to your organisation’s policies and support options and include any specific wellbeing messages you would like to convey.
