Resilience is a word that we are hearing more and more lately and our resilience levels have certainly been challenged in the last couple of years. Resilience is often referred to as ‘bounceback-ability’ but often we want to do more than ‘bounce back’, we want to move forward.
In this workshop we introduce the concept of mental toughness, which describes the mindset every person adopts in everything they do. Mental toughness is a combination of resilience (how we cope with life’s challenges) and positivity (seeing and seizing opportunity).
During this workshop delegates have the opportunity to complete their own mental toughness audit using a self assessment adapted from the the MTQPlus psychometric tool which measures the behaviours and attributes of the 4 Cs:
- Control
- Commitment
- Challenge
- Confidence
Topics covered:
- What is resilience and why develop it?
- Resilience links to mental toughness
- Mental toughness and the road to thriving
- Your mental toughness audit
- Everyday techniques to help you THRIVE and build resilience
- Your resilience savings account
- Creating habits and action planning
Each delegate receives an electronic version of the slides and a workbook to use during and after the workshop.
