Who is it for?
Mental Health Skills for Managers is a practical and immersive course for people managers, giving them the skills, knowledge and confidence to have effective conversations with people and about mental health and wellbeing.
What will I learn on the Mental Health Skills for Managers course?
- How to identify if a team member may be experiencing poor mental health.
- Gain confidence in having open conversations about mental health with your team members.
- How to appropriately signpost to available support and know where to go for support and guidance for yourself.
- How to role model good self-care practice, inspiring your team to look after their own mental health and wellbeing.
Course Structure:
Learning takes place through a mix of instructor led training, group discussions, individual and group activities.
We strive for all of our learning content to be accessible and inclusive as possible. Course numbers are limited to 16 so our Instructors can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
There is some self reflective preparatory work to complete prior to the live session which takes no longer than 30 minutes to complete.
